Low Voltage Systems Project Manager
Radius ECS is hiring a hands-on Low Voltage Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial systems installations — including structured cabling, access control, surveillance, audiovisual, paging, and intercom setups. You’ll work closely with technicians, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Location: Eastern Massachusetts
What You’ll Do
- Manage low-voltage projects from kickoff to closeout
- Supervise onsite teams and subcontractors
- Communicate directly with clients and internal departments
- Submit RFIs and product documents based on designs
- Create and maintain project schedules and staffing plans
- Track budgets, materials, and vendor invoices
- Enforce safety protocols with support from our Safety Department
- Foster strong client relationships to support repeat business
- Coordinate procurement activities and logistics
- Lead project reviews and document lessons learned
- Estimate Small Projects and Change Orders
- Install and maintain security hardware, access control systems, and IP cameras
- Pull and terminate Category 6 and security cabling; test for compliance
- Conduct predictive and active Wi-Fi site surveys
- Program and update network equipment, cameras, and door controllers
- Troubleshoot systems, including access control, Wi-Fi, and surveillance
- Support A/V integration projects and partners
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of low-voltage project management experience
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems and construction processes
- Familiar with health and safety standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment

Job Summary
As the Assistant to the Low Voltage Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating projects, supporting client communications, and assisting with documentation and estimating. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the construction or technology field while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, technicians, and clients to maintain project organization and deliver quality results.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling low-voltage construction projects
- Support proposal development, bid packages, and documentation
- Coordinate meetings and prepare presentation materials
- Communicate with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Track project costs, timelines, and deliverables
- Review drawings and specifications to support estimating and scope development
- Maintain organized records of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages
- Attend pre-bid and construction meetings with the Project Manager
- Ensure quality standards are met during installation and commissioning
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with construction or low-voltage systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus
